These are two easy last minute desserts that will be perfect for St. Patrick's Day tomorrow if you're running short on time. The grasshopper is a light minty shake accompanied by the perfect drizzle of our chocolate caramel sauce and the Bailey's has our chocolate caramel in it but is topped off with an extra drizzle of our Irish Cream caramel sauce! The Bailey's shake can be made non-alcoholic with the use of Irish cream coffee creamer in place of the real stuff! Both ways are delicious and a must try! Enjoy!!!
Ingredients:
For the Grasshopper Shakes:
- 1 1/2 quarts vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 c whole milk
- 1 tsp peppermint extract
- green food coloring (a few drops will do)
- Caramel Kitchen chocolate caramel sauce for drizzling inside of glass and on top of shake
- whip cream for garnish
For the Bailey's Shakes:
- 1 1/2 quarts vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 c Bailey's Irish Cream liqueur (or coffee creamer)
- 1/4 Caramel Kitchen chocolate caramel sauce (plus more for drizzle)
- Caramel Kitchen Irish cream caramel sauce for drizzling over top of shake
- whip cream for garnish
Directions:
For the Grasshopper Shakes:
- Add ice cream, milk, peppermint extract and green food coloring to a blender and blend of high until smooth.
- Swirl the chocolate caramel sauce around the inside of two glasses.
- Divide the shake into each glass and top with whip cream and an additional drizzle of chocolate caramel sauce.
For the Bailey's Shakes:
- Add ice cream, Bailey's and chocolate caramel sauce to a blender and blend of high until smooth.
- Swirl the chocolate caramel sauce around the inside of two glasses.
- Divide the shake into each glass and top with whip cream and an additional drizzles of chocolate caramel sauce and Irish cream caramel sauce.
